Joe Mascari is Design Principal for Mascari Dinh Architects leading the design of the firm’s projects.  He has played a pivotal role in the growth of the firm, being on the forefront entering new markets and territories with clients.

Possessing an innate ability to understand clients’ overarching ideas, Joe utilizes a hands-on approach to determine a project’s initial vision in order to optimize and realize the inherent design opportunities.  He strives to establish a relationship of trust with clients; this is built upon collaboration, dependability and a wide range of experience.

Using a strategy of value, vision and balance of creativity and execution, Joe is involved in each project from inception to completion of construction.  He emphasizes creative solutions at each step of the process; from conducting meetings with various User Groups, presentations to Planning Commissions, as well as interacting with contractors during construction.  His knowledge of trends and advancements in the healthcare industry allow him to create projects that look to the future.

Joe believes the key to a successful project is strong leadership and open communication taking a progressive team approach.  With over 35 years in the architectural field, his wide range of experience is focused on Healthcare and includes Land Use Entitlements, Planning, Mixed-Use and Urban Design.

When not visiting a project site or answering emails, you will find him surfing or spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Thai Dinh is a Partner and Managing Principal of Mascari Dinh Architects. Along with running the firm’s day-to-day operations, he continues to lead major healthcare projects, maintaining a hands-on approach to management.

Thai has experience in all phases of the design and construction processes. His main emphasis is programming and space planning for various major healthcare providers throughout Southern California. Thai’s project expertise includes working with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, including OSHPD, CDPH, TJC, City and County.

He has successfully directed projects through ADA compliance process. He’s also involved in complex master plans addressing compliance with California seismic regulations.

While not busy at project sites, Thai finds some time to fine-tune his golf game with different clients and friends.
