At Mascari Warner Architects, we understand that for a business to truly be innovative and responsive to the clients’ needs, there must be a shift from simply producing a service to creating an environment, evoking a feeling, and inspiring those who interact with it. From healthcare to commercial, offices to residential, we beautifully combine function with form from the inside out.

Loma Linda University Medical Center – Pediatric Medical Office Building

Overview

The Pediatric Medical Office Building (PMOB) is a 5-story, approximately 105,000 SF building to be constructed on the site at the southeast corner of the intersection of Barton Road and Anderson Street in Loma Linda, CA. Approximately 3.6 acres of the 5.84-acre site will be redeveloped as part of the PMOB project, with a portion of the existing surface parking on the east side of the site to remain in support of the PMOB.

In addition to construction of the medical office building, improvements will include new parking, patient drop-off and loading areas, landscaping, and site lighting. Outdoor amenity space for patients, visitors and staff will be included in the site design. Service areas will include loading, waste collection enclosure and enclosed utility yard. Code minimum requirements for EV charging stalls, and PV array will be provided. The program is primarily comprised of hospital-based pediatric clinics including 150 exam rooms and associated support, designed to meet OSHPD-3 standards, and licensed under the Children’s Hospital license.
